Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)
We partner with Midtown Medical Imaging, Southlake to acquire our MRI scans. Conveniently located adjacent to our clinic, patients can walk from our clinic to their facility.
MMI employs a 3 Tesla Siemens Magnetom Skyra MRI scanner to perform exceptionally high-quality scans quickly. Our MRI sessions typically require less than 20 minutes.
We can acquire T1 and T2 anatomical scans for use in more accurate source-localization of electroencephalography and future neuronavigation. We can also acquire functional MRI scans for use in neurotargeting.
Electroencephalography (EEG)
Listen to your volts. EEG is a unique service offered at Compassion Neuroscience. We acquire a scan of your brain prior to treatment, during first and last sessions, and after treatment. This affords the ability to objectively assess what has changed in the brain over the course of a TMS treatment series. Combined TMS-EEG is still a developing field and is not yet FDA-approved to guide treatment. At present, these scans are used for educational and illustrative purposes only and to contribute to an essential body of knowledge to advance the field of TMS.
